The Countdown to 25 Begins

What makes the Pam Posthumus Signature Auction a can't-miss event? See for yourself! The 2026 Auction was once again full of glitz, glamor and gracious giving. The energy, excitement and empathy on display are what transform an ordinary May evening into one of the year's most impactful nights for Michigan children and families.

Your Generosity Makes a Difference

The 24th annual Pam Posthumus Signature Auction was another night to remember. The positive, purpose-driven energy that filled the DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing on May 19 was a joy to experience.


The evening saw more than 400 advocates, business leaders, legislators and community champions gather on behalf of Michigan children and families — and all came through in a big way.


CTM raised nearly $700,000 for statewide initiatives that strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect. The powerful generosity and compassion on display inspires CTM and our prevention partners to do all we can to ensure the very best outcomes for children in Michigan.

Mission Moment

Each year’s auction features a unique Mission Moment. CTM identifies a need that exists across the state and devotes time at each auction to raise funds specifically to address this need.


This 2026 Mission Moment raised more than $51,000 for the Period of PURPLE Crying education initiative, which equips new parents across Michigan with the knowledge to navigate one of the most misunderstood phases of early infant development.

An Incredible Legacy of Love

Pam Posthumus was a true champion of children. A member of what was then the Children’s Trust Fund Board of Directors from 1997 to 2003 — serving as president from 2002 onward — she demonstrated boundless compassion for Michigan children and families. She was a tireless and innovative advocate who helped implement multiple new funding sources for prevention work.


Of these, the Signature Auction was among the most impactful. Over the years, this annual gala has grown and grown. A true testament to collaboration, the event is guided by a bipartisan Advisory Committee co-chaired by Michigan senators and representatives.


Guests include legislators, lobbyists, corporate leaders and philanthropists. They are drawn by a sincere dedication to the cause of child abuse prevention. They also join attendees in actively bidding on an exciting array of live and silent auction items, including once-in-a-lifetime trips to premier destinations around the world.


Pam Posthumus passed away in August 2010. In recognition of her contributions to CTM’s mission, the Auction was renamed in her honor.


Since its inauguration, the Pam Posthumus Signature Auction has generated more than $9 million in funding for initiatives ranging from body safety education for elementary students and infant safe sleep sacks to fatherhood programs, concrete supports such as food and clothing for families, and beyond.
