At Children Trust Michigan, we know that prevention is possible through partnership. Together we can move mountains and ensure that Michigan children grow up joyful, healthy and free from the shadow of abuse and neglect.
Becoming a partner in our mission is easy, with several convenient ways to provide support. Every donation helps fund crucial prevention programming across the state. These range from parent education to body safety education for elementary students to concrete supports such as food or clothing for families in need.

Signature Auction
The Pam Posthumus Signature Auction is CTM's single-biggest fundraiser - and the state's largest annual fundraiser for child abuse prevention. It was brought to life by Pam Posthumus, a former CTM executive director and wife of former Lt. Gov. Dick Posthumus. The event was named in her honor following her passing in August 2010.
A true testament to collaboration, the auction is co-chaired by bipartisan leaders in the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives. Guest include legislators, lobbyists, corporate leaders and philanthropist who are drawn by a sincere dedication to the cause of child abuse prevention as well as by the exciting array of live and silent auction items (including a once in a lifetime trips to premier destinations around the world).

License Plates for Prevention
Drive change everywhere you go. Showcase your support for Michigan kids by purchasing a specialty CTM license plate. Featuring our colorful pinwheel logo, this unique plate catches plenty of eyes, raising awareness as well as funds.
Each plate purchase contributes directly to safer communities for Michigan children. Request a plate at any Michigan Secretary of State office, directly through the SOS online service portal, by mailing a fundraising plate order form or when buying a new vehicle at the dealership. Plate cost is $35, with $25 going directly to CTM. Each renewal cycle, CTM receives an additional $10.
Heirloom Birth Certificate
Uplift all Michigan children while celebrating a new life with the purchase of Michigan Heirloom Birth Certificate. This beautiful keepsake memorializes a precious moment while helping secure a bright future for all our little ones. Priced at $40 each, $20 of every sale supports CTM programming.

Tax Checkoff
Simple actions make a big difference. Helping Michigan kids is as easy as checking a box. CTM is one of five organizations to which Michigan residents can give voluntary contributions when they file their state income taxes.
By designating CTM (No. 3 on the voluntary contribution schedule) as a charity of choice on the MI-1040 tax form and completing tax form 4642, you directly contribute to child abuse prevention efforts across the state.
Direct Donations
Give Directly and be the reason a child feels safe, seen and supported. Direct donations can be made as a part of planned giving, as a memorial or honorarium, or for any other occasion. Each gift contributes to critical child abuse prevention programs serving ever Michigan county.
